HO HO HO - Dec 2022 Market

HoHoHo 🧑🏼‍🎄

Celebrating the last Foodmarket of the year

I couldn't let December go past, without another post about Uddingston Food Market. Christmas Jumper on I ventured out bright and early again to secure the amazing goods.

Caught up with Martyn at the Cider stop to take a selfie (by the way, I vote for having the Mulled Cider as a staple while it's cold 😁)

First stop of course was FlatFlatWhite to get some hot choc to keep me warm on my travels. And what an impressive specimen this was!

Of course I also visited my usual haunts, stocked up on enough baked goods until the big day arrives and went home to warm my very very very cold feet (and eat my Pizza!)

I was under strict instructions from our head of snacks not to come home without any liver snacks from PawsAff. She loves them so much...we even get a wee tippytap out of her when I open the package 🤩

Pickles needed to be topped up as well, but I have to honestly say, that Juno's clementine cordial caught my eye....I'll be trying this with some prosecco over Christmas....cannot wait!

Leithal Hot Sauces are amazing and they have a great range from fairly mild, to "I can hear colours"....and this time I went for a mild one. They are so versatile, so it will be interesting what they end up with over the holidays 😏

Ohhh here is a thought, maybe I'll be trying them with the smoked cheese from Bellhaven Smokehouse (told ya, the possibilities are endless!)

Another couple of traders I hadn't visited in a while were Pudges Cakery who deliver some amaaaaaazing baked goods. And you can't miss the colourful hair!

And Jam & Sprinkles deliver AAALLLLL of the gluten free goodies. I'm not gluten intolerant (thank crunchie for that!!!), but it shows that anything is possible...even without gluten. Stockingfiller sorted 😁

I've been admiring the creations of Eclectic Eclairs for the last few markets now, and this week decided to bring the éclair lover in the family, aka Mr. J one home....chocolate orange of course.

Happy to report, they are approved!
